Loch Lomond 46 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky
This 46-year-old whisky is the 2nd release in our Remarkable Stills series, inspired by our distinctive straight neck pot stills installed at the distillery in 1965. Distilled in 1974, it aged initially in 1st fill and refilled American Oak casks, before being transferred to a blend of 2nd fill Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez Sherry casks for added complexity. Only 200 bottles were produced for this release, a testament to its exclusivity.
Craftsmanship shines through from production to packaging, with each bottle featuring the Loch Lomond Distillery emblem sandblasted and infused with copper, sealed by an embossed wooden cork and adorned with a debossed copper plaque. The bottle is housed in a beautifully handcrafted oak wood box, stained and complemented with a metallic element, portraying our iconic straight neck pot still.
This release exclusively consists of 100% unpeated spirit from our unique straight neck pot stills, known for their precise distillation control, resulting in a distinct fruit character, a hallmark of Loch Lomond Distillery. Time and nature are allowed to work their magic, culminating in an extraordinary whisky.
