Crafted from raspberries you could find in the dark, St. George Raspberry Brandy is intensely ripe, lush, and focused—with flavor and aromatics that go all the way up to 11.

What’s in it?

We manage to fit almost 40 pounds of perfectly ripe Meeker raspberries into a single bottle of our Raspberry Brandy. Why Meeker? The variety has extraordinary aromatics which dazzle the nose once they have been distilled down to their essence. We are so particular about our raspberries that if we can’t find fruit that meets our exacting standards, we won’t distill Raspberry Brandy that year.

The Process

Just as we do with our pear brandy, we begin by sourcing the most flavorful and characteristic fruit we can find and then ferment and distill it at its prime. We use the whole fruit in its entirety in a deliberate effort to maximize the most elemental flavors and aromas. While our stills (custom-made for us by the Arnold Holstein Company) demand expertise and keen judgment, they give us extraordinary command over each distillation run, allowing us to capture all the nuance and depth of this incredible fruit with just a single still run.

The Experience

On the nose, you’ll find bright fruit alongside a touch of salinity. The palate leads with bracing berry notes balanced with sea kelp and fresh-cut grass. The finish is fresh and earthy.

We enjoy sipping our Raspberry Brandy neat after a great meal, but it's also a bartender’s secret weapon—enhancing any cocktail that calls for vivid fruit flavor without additional sweetness. Try it in a whiskey highball, or in the Waldorf Astoria classic, the Floradora.
