Outlaw Kentucky Bourbon is a rare union of Preservation Distillery’s oldest wheated bourbon casks ever dumped, blended with a nearly 9-year vintage bourbon to create a beautifully layered, high-ester profile you won’t find in younger Kentucky releases. Distilled and aged in Bardstown, Kentucky, this 3-barrel microbatch showcases the tropical fruit-driven character that emerges only after years of slow concentration inside the barrel.
With almost eight years of aging, the elevated ester content from Preservation’s Pot Distilled Bourbon delivers lush, unexpected notes of tropical fruit, sweetness, and depth—far beyond what’s typical for bourbons under 12 years old. The result is a rich, highly viscous whiskey that drinks well above its age and proof, offering exceptional weight, flavor saturation, and a smooth, powerful finish.
